Well the holidays are in full swing around here. Our Advent is going beautifully, Steve is making the effort to drive home from work for Advent every night. I think he just likes to be in Gospel Doctrine Teacher Mode with the kids frankly, they are getting a seminary college level background education on the passages he's choosing every night, but whatever, that's Daddy and they'll of course remember this forever. He doesn't have the time for this level of Bible instruction for our kids so can you imagine 24 nights of intense Bible study with Dad every year? That has it's own value. Plus I enjoy him looking like Papa Christmas with his reading glasses and the books spread out. He's reading a Christmas story every night as well.
Saturday was a hugely hectic day for us. We went to breakfast with Santa then to Mom's birthday party then the Down Home Christmas parade, but of course we loved it! I'll post more later...
